Choosing a major is important and we understand it can sometimes feel a little daunting. Whether you are preparing for your first career or your fifth, CCC is committed to providing you with the tools to ensure you are in the correct program of study to meet your long term career and transfer goals.
Career Planning and Advancement Center has implemented the online platform VitaNavis to enhance career exploration opportunities. The platform uses the SuperStrong interest assessment to find educational and career pathways for you. For each pathway, SuperStrong links your interests to careers, salaries, job outlooks, skills, and the education you’ll need to meet your goals.
You can also use VitaNavis to conduct in-depth research into your areas of interest including:
- Job descriptions
- Long term employment projections
- Salary potential
- And so much more!
When to take the Career Assessment
The Career Planning and Advancement Center recommends you set up your VitaNavis account and take the SuperStrong assessment at the beginning of your studies to help you understand where your interests intersect with potential majors and career pathways.
